The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever wishes to encircle his loved one with a ring of fire, let him place on him a ring of gold. Whoever wishes to collar his loved one with a collar of fire, let him place on him a collar of gold. And whoever wishes to bracelet his loved one with a bracelet of fire, let him place on him a bracelet of gold. But stick to silver, and adorn yourselves with it as you please."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من أحب أن يحلق حبيبه حلقة من نار فليحلقه حلقة من ذهب ومن أحب أن يطوق حبيبه طوقا من نار فليطوقه طوقا من ذهب ومن أحب أن يسور حبيبه سوارا من نار فليسوره سوارا من ذهب ولكن عليكم بالفضة فالعبوا بها
Sourcing. [Its isnad is hasan] Ahmad narrated it in 2/378, from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz Darawardi, through this same route.What is meant by "the beloved" here is a man, whether among one's children, siblings, or others. As for women, gold is permissible for them. A version of the hadith states, "and his beloved" (Ahmad 4/414), but its chain is daif, since the narrator did not correctly preserve the chain, and the report is anomalous.
