The Prophet ﷺ used to wear sandals made of tanned leather and would dye his beard yellow with wars and saffron, and Ibn Umar would do the same.

أن النبي ﷺ كان يلبس النعال السبتية ويصفر لحيته بالورس والزعفران وكان ابن عمر يفعل ذلك
[Its isnad is hasan] Nasai narrated it in Kitab al-Zinah, Bab tasfir al-lihyah bil-wars wal-zafaran, no. 5246, from the hadith of Amr bin Muhammad, with the same wording.
