A man came in to see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with traces of yellow dye on him. The Prophet ﷺ rarely confronted a man to his face with something he disliked. So when the man left, he said, "If only you would tell this man to wash this off himself."
حدثنا عبيد الله بن عمر بن ميسرة حدثنا حماد بن زيد حدثنا سلم العلوي
أن رجلا دخل على رسول الله ﷺ وعليه أثر صفرة وكان النبي ﷺ قلما يواجه رجلا في وجهه بشيء يكرهه فلما خرج قال لو أمرتم هذا أن يغسل هذا عنه
