When the Prophet of Allah ﷺ conquered Mecca, the people of Mecca began bringing their children to him so he could pray for blessings upon them and wipe their heads. I was brought to him while I was smeared with khaluq perfume, but he did not touch me because of the khaluq.

لما فتح نبي الله ﷺ مكة جعل أهل مكة يأتونه بصبيانهم فيدعو لهم بالبركة ويمسح رءوسهم قال فجيء بي إليه وأنا مخلق فلم يمسني من أجل الخلوق
[Its chain is daif] Aqeeli recorded it in Duafa, 2/319, through the hadith of Umar bin Ayub, and Ahmad recorded it, 4/32, through the hadith of Jafar bin Barqan. In it is Abdullah Hamdani, who is unknown, and his report is rejected, as stated by Ibn Abdul-Barr.
