We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey when he said, "Wear sandals often, for a man remains as if mounted so long as he has sandals on."
[Sahih] Ibn Adi narrated it in Al-Kamil, 4/1587, from the hadith of Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Zinad. Muslim also narrated it, in the Book of Clothing, chapter on the recommendation of wearing sandals and similar things, hadith 2096, from the hadith of Abu Zubayr through this route, and Hasan corroborated him, as found in Bukhari's Tarikh al-Kabir, 8/44.
