The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever catches one rakah of the Asr prayer before the sun sets has caught it, and whoever catches one rakah of the Fajr prayer before the sun rises has caught it."
حدثنا الحسن بن الربيع حدثني ابن المبارك عن معمر عن ابن طاوس عن أبيه عن ابن عباس
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أدرك من العصر ركعة قبل أن تغرب الشمس فقد أدرك ومن أدرك من الفجر ركعة قبل أن تطلع الشمس فقد أدرك
Recorded by Muslim, Book of Mosques, Chapter: "Whoever catches a rakat of the prayer has caught that prayer," Hadith no. 608 (165), from Hasan bin Rabi through the same chain.
