We descended with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from a mountain pass, and he turned to me while I was wearing a wrap dyed deep red with safflower. He asked, "What is this wrap you have on?"I understood that he disliked it, so I went to my family, who were heating up an oven of theirs, and I threw it into the fire. The next day I came to him, and he asked, "Abdullah, what did you do with the wrap?"I told him what had happened. He said, "Why did you not give it to one of the women in your family to wear? There is nothing wrong with it for women."
