Bilal used to call the adhan for the Zuhr prayer when the sun had passed its zenith.
حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا حماد عن سماك بن حرب
أن بلالا كان يؤذن الظهر إذا دحضت الشمس
Muslim recorded it in the Book of Mosques, Chapter on the Recommendation of Praying Dhuhr at the Beginning of Its Time When There Is No Severe Heat, hadith 618, from the hadith of Shuba, from Simak, from Jabir bin Samura, who said, "The Prophet used to pray Dhuhr when the sun had passed its zenith."
