Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ put on a new garment, he would name it by its name, whether a shirt or a turban, and then say, "O Allah, to You belongs all praise. You are the One who clothed me with it. I ask You for its good and the good of what it was made for, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of what it was made for."
