She mentioned, or used a similar expression, the recitation of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem. Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil-alameen. Ar-Rahman ar-Raheem. Maliki yawm ad-deen." He would pause at the end of each verse, reciting it verse by verse.
حدثنا سعيد بن يحيى الأموي حدثني أبي حدثنا ابن جريج عن عبد الله بن أبي مليكة
أنها ذكرت أو كلمة غيرها قراءة رسول الله ﷺ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم {الحمد لله رب العالمين الرحمن الرحيم ملك يوم الدين} يقطع قراءته آية آية
[Its chain is daif] Tirmidhi also recorded it in his chapter on recitations, section on the Opening Surah of the Book, no. 2927, from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed bin Aban Umawi with the same chain, and he said, "Gharib, and its chain is not connected." The hadith has corroborating narrations, and the hadith of Ahmad, 6/288, serves in its place, though it does not contain "In the name of Allah."
