The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took the hand of a man afflicted with leprosy and placed it with his own in the serving bowl, saying, "Eat, with trust in Allah and reliance upon Him."
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا يونس بن محمد حدثنا مفضل بن فضالة عن حبيب بن الشهيد عن محمد بن المنكدر
أن رسول الله ﷺ أخذ بيد مجذوم فوضعها معه في القصعة وقال كل ثقة بالله وتوكلا عليه
[Its chain is daif] Tirmidhi narrated it, Foods, chapter on what has been said about eating with a leper, no. 1817, and Ibn Majah, no. 3542, from the hadith of Yunus bin Muhammad, with the same wording. Tirmidhi said, "Gharib," and Hakim graded it sahih, 4/136, 137, and Dhahabi agreed with him.* Mufaddal bin Fadala is daif.
