I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a son of mine on whom I had pressed the uvula to treat a throat ailment. He said, "Why do you press your children's throats with your fingers like this? You should use this Indian wood, for in it there are seven cures, among them pleurisy. It is to be administered through the nose for the throat ailment and poured into the side of the mouth for pleurisy."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Medicine, Chapter on Forced Medication, hadith no. 5713, and Muslim in the Book of Greetings, Chapter on Treatment with Indian Wood, which is Kust, hadith no. 2214, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, through this route.
