The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If a mouse falls into clarified butter, then if it is solid, throw the mouse and what is around it away, but if it is liquid, do not go near it."Hasan said that Abdul-Razzaq said, "Sometimes Muamar would narrate it from Zuhri, from Ubaydullah bin Abdullah, from Ibn Abbas, from Maymunah, from the Prophet ﷺ."
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ahmad narrated it: 2/265, from Abdul-Razzaq, with the same chain, and it is in the Musannaf, no. 278, and Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, no. 871. Zuhri narrated with an ambiguous form indicating he heard it from someone else without specifying, and Bukhari indicated its weakness, see no. 5538.
