The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware, no predatory animal with fangs is lawful to eat, nor is the domestic donkey, nor a lost item belonging to a non-Muslim under treaty, unless its owner has no need of it. And any man who seeks hospitality from a people and they fail to host him, he is entitled to take from them the equivalent of what would have been his due hospitality."
