The Prophet ﷺ used to have fresh drinking water brought to him from the wells of as-Suqya. Qutayba said, "It is a spring located two days' journey from Madinah."
حدثنا سعيد بن منصور وعبد الله بن محمد النفيلي وقتيبة بن سعيد قالوا حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد عن هشام عن أبيه
أن النبي ﷺ كان يستعذب له الماء من بيوت السقيا قال قتيبة هي عين بينها وبين المدينة يومان
[Its isnad is sahih]. Ahmad also narrated it (6/100) from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz Darawardi through the same route, and Hakim graded it sahih according to the criterion of Muslim (4/138).
