I was in Maymuna's house when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered, accompanied by Khalid bin Walid. They brought two roasted lizards on two stalks of panic grass. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spat.Khalid said, "I think you find it disgusting, Messenger of Allah."He replied, "Yes."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought milk and he drank it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you eats food, let him say, 'Allah, bless it for us and feed us something better than it.' And when he is given milk to drink, let him say, 'Allah, bless it for us and give us more of it.' For there is nothing that suffices in place of both food and drink except milk."

كنت في بيت ميمونة فدخل رسول الله ﷺ ومعه خالد بن الوليد فجاءوا بضبين مشويين على ثمامتين فتبزق رسول الله ﷺ فقال خالد إخالك تقذره يا رسول الله قال أجل ثم أتي رسول الله ﷺ بلبن فشرب فقال رسول الله ﷺ إذا أكل أحدكم طعاما فليقل اللهم بارك لنا فيه وأطعمنا خيرا منه وإذا سقي لبنا فليقل اللهم بارك لنا فيه وزدنا منه فإنه ليس شيء يجزئ من الطعام والشراب إلا اللبن
Takhrij, its chain of transmission is daif. Tirmidhi narrated it in the book of Invocations, the chapter on what one says after eating food, no. 3455, from the hadith of Ali bin Zayd bin Jadan, with this wording, and he said it is hasan.Ali bin Zayd is daif, and Umar bin Harmalah is majhul. So the chain is daif. The hadith has a daif corroborating narration in Silsilah Sahihah, no. 2320.
