The Prophet of Allah ﷺ would speak to us about the Children of Israil until morning came, rising only for the obligatory prayers.
حدثنا محمد بن المثنى حدثنا معاذ حدثني أبي عن قتادة عن أبي حسان
كان نبي الله ﷺ يحدثنا عن بني إسرائيل حتى يصبح ما يقوم إلا إلى عظم صلاة
[Its chain of transmission is daif] It was recorded by Ahmad, 437/1, and Ibn Khuzayma, no. 1342, from the hadith of Muaz through the same route. Qatada is a mudallis and he narrated with an "an" formula. The hadith has another daif route in Ahmad, 444/4.
