The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Narrate from the Children of Israil, and there is no harm in doing so."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ حدثوا عن بني إسرائيل ولا حرج
[Its isnad is hasan] Ahmad narrated it, 2/474, and Humaydi, no. 1174 (in my edition), from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqama Laythi, through him. It is also found in Musannaf Ibn Abu Shayba, 9/62.
