A man from Kindah and a man from Hadramawt brought a dispute before the Prophet ﷺ concerning a piece of land in Yemen.The Hadrami said, "Messenger of Allah, this man's father seized my land, and it is now in his possession."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you have any proof?"He replied, "No, but I will have him swear an oath by Allah that he does not know it is my land which his father seized from me."The Kindi then prepared to take the oath. And he continued the hadith.
حدثنا محمود بن خالد حدثنا الفريابي حدثنا الحارث بن سليمان حدثني كردوس
أن رجلا من كندة ورجلا من حضرموت اختصما إلى النبي ﷺ في أرض من اليمن فقال الحضرمي يا رسول الله إن أرضي اغتصبنيها أبو هذا وهي في يده قال هل لك بينة قال لا ولكن أحلفه والله ما يعلم أنها أرضي اغتصبنيها أبوه فتهيأ الكندي يعني لليمين وساق الحديث
