The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "When my messengers come to you, give them thirty coats of mail and thirty camels."I asked, "Messenger of Allah, is this a loan that I bear responsibility for if lost, or a loan that must be returned in kind?"He replied, "Rather, it is one to be returned."

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Nasai reported it in Kubra, no. 5776, from Ibrahim bin Mustamir, through this same chain.
