Bashir's wife said to him, "Give my son your slave boy as a gift, and have the Messenger of Allah ﷺ serve as my witness."So he came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "The daughter of so-and-so has asked me to give her son a slave boy as a gift, and she told me to have the Messenger of Allah ﷺ witness it."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "Does he have brothers?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Have you given each of them the like of what you gave him?"He answered, "No."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then this is not proper, and I will not bear witness to anything but what is just."

امرأة بشير انحل ابني غلامك وأشهد لي رسول الله ﷺ فأتى رسول الله ﷺ فقال إن ابنة فلان سألتني أن أنحل ابنها غلاما وقالت لي أشهد رسول الله ﷺ فقال له إخوة فقال نعم قال فكلهم أعطيت مثل ما أعطيته قال لا قال فليس يصلح هذا وإني لا أشهد إلا على حق
