[Its chain is hasan]. Reported by Tirmidhi in the Book of Business Transactions, Chapter on what has been said about one who buys a slave... etc., no. 1285, Ibn Majah, no. 2242, and Nasai, no. 4495, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Dhib, through this chain. Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1125, as did Ibn Jarud, no. 627.
