The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever grants a Muslim the cancellation of a sale, Allah will overlook his stumbles."
حدثنا يحيى بن معين حدثنا حفص عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أقال مسلما أقاله الله عثرته
[Its chain is daif] It was reported by Abdullah bin Ahmad, 2/252, no. 7425, from Yahya bin Main, with the same chain. Ibn Majah also reported it, no. 2199, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1103, as did Hakim, who said it met the conditions of the two shaykhs, 2/45, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith has supporting narrations in Ibn Hibban, no. 1104, and elsewhere.
