The Prophet ﷺ forbade selling fresh dates for dried dates by measure, selling grapes for raisins by measure, and selling standing crops for wheat by measure.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Sales, chapter on the prohibition of selling ripe dates for dried dates except in the case of araya, hadith 1542, from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, with this wording, and it is found in his Musannaf, 6/182. Bukhari also narrated it, hadith 2171, 2205, from the hadith of Nafi, with this wording.
