Two brothers from the Ansar shared an inheritance between them. One of them asked his brother to divide it, but the other replied, "If you ask me about dividing it again, then all my wealth is bound to the door of the Kaabah."Umar said to him, "The Kaabah has no need of your wealth. Make expiation for your oath and speak with your brother. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'No oath binds you, and no vow holds, in disobedience to the Lord, in severing ties of kinship, or concerning what you do not own.'"
