I said to the Prophet ﷺ, "Your uncle, the misguided old man, has died."He said, "Go and bury your father, then do not do anything until you come to me."So I went, buried him, and came back to him. He instructed me to bathe, which I did, and he supplicated for me.

قلت للنبي ﷺ إن عمك الشيخ الضال قد مات قال اذهب فوار أباك ثم لا تحدثن شيئا حتى تأتيني فذهبت فواريته وجئته فأمرني فاغتسلت ودعا لي
[Hasan] Reported by Nasai in the Book of Funerals, chapter on burying the polytheist, no. 2008, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan, through this same chain. Abu Ishaq stated explicitly that he heard it directly, and Ibn Mulaqqin graded it hasan in Tuhfat al-Muhtaj, no. 868.
