Abu Dawud 3208

Its isnad is daif. Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Funerals, in the chapter on what the Prophet ﷺ said, "The niche grave is for us and the trench grave is for others," Hadith: 1045, from the hadith of Hakkam, with this wording, and he said, hasan gharib. Ibn Majah also narrated it, Hadith: 1554, and Nasai, Hadith: 2011. The hadith has daif corroborating narrations. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was buried in a niche grave, as in Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 966.
