The freed slave of Harith bin Nawfal reported that he attended the funeral of Umm Kulthum and her son. The boy was placed in the position closer to the imam, and he found this objectionable. Among the people present were Ibn Abbas, Abu Saeed Khudri, Abu Qatada, and Abu Hurairah. They said, "This is the Sunnah."
