Asma asked the Prophet ﷺ, and the narration carries a similar meaning. He said, "A piece of cloth scented with musk."She asked, "How shall I purify myself with it?"He said, "Glory be to Allah, purify yourself with it," and he covered himself with a garment.Wazad reported that she also asked him about the bath required after sexual impurity. He said, "Take your water and purify yourself thoroughly and completely, then pour water over your head and rub it until it reaches the roots of your hair, then pour water over yourself."Ayesha said, "What excellent women the women of the Ansar were. Modesty did not prevent them from asking about their religion and seeking deep understanding of it."

أن أسماء سألت النبي ﷺ بمعناه قال فرصة ممسكة قالت كيف أتطهر بها قال سبحان الله تطهري بها واستتري بثوب وزاد وسألته عن الغسل من الجنابة فقال تأخذين ماءك فتطهرين أحسن الطهور وأبلغه ثم تصبين على رأسك الماء ثم تدلكينه حتى يبلغ شؤون رأسك ثم تفيضين عليك الماء قال وقالت عائشة نعم النساء نساء الأنصار لم يكن يمنعهن الحياء أن يسألن عن الدين وأن يتفقهن فيه
