The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three Najrani garments, the set consisting of two pieces along with the shirt in which he died.
[Its isnad is daif] Bayhaqi narrated it (3/400) from the hadith of Abu Dawud through this route, and it is found in Musnad Ahmad (1/222). The hadith also has another version in Ibn Majah (no. 1471). Yazid bin Abu Ziyad is daif, and his memory became confused. The hadith has daif corroborating narrations in Talkhis Habir (2/108).
