The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three white Yemeni garments, with neither a shirt nor a turban among them.
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن هشام قال أخبرني أبي أخبرتني
كفن رسول الله ﷺ في ثلاثة أثواب يمانية بيض ليس فيها قميص ولا عمامة
Bukhari transmitted it in the chapter on funerals, section on shrouding without a shirt, hadith no. 1272, from the narration of Yahya Qattan, and Muslim in the chapter on funerals, section on the shroud of the deceased, hadith no. 941, from the narration of Hisham bin Urwa, through the same chain.
