A Jewish boy had fallen ill, so the Prophet ﷺ came to visit him and sat by his head. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Become Muslim."The boy looked toward his father, who was sitting at his head, and his father said to him, "Obey Abu Qasim."So he embraced Islam. The Prophet ﷺ then stood up, saying, "Praise be to Allah, who has saved him through me from the Fire."
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب حدثنا حماد يعني ابن زيد عن ثابت
أن غلاما من اليهود كان مرض فأتاه النبي ﷺ يعوده فقعد عند رأسه فقال له أسلم فنظر إلى أبيه وهو عند رأسه فقال له أبوه أطع أبا القاسم فأسلم فقام النبي ﷺ وهو يقول الحمد لله الذي أنقذه بي من النار
