The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to visit Abdullah bin Ubayy during the illness in which he died. When he came in to him, he recognized death upon him and said, "I used to forbid you from loving the Jews."Abdullah replied, "Saad bin Zurara hated them, and what came of it?"When he died, his son came to the Prophet and said, "Messenger of Allah, Abdullah bin Ubayy has died. Give me your shirt so I may shroud him in it." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took off his shirt and gave it to him.
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ahmad narrated it: 5/210, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Ishaq, through this route, and Hakim graded it sahih according to the criterion of Muslim: 1/341, and Dhahabi agreed with him (!) * Ibn Ishaq used ambiguous transmission wording, and there is another flaw in it.
