The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out, and the tribe of Hamdan said to me, "Will you go to this man and investigate him for us? If you approve of something for us, we will accept it, and if you dislike something, we will dislike it as well."I said, "Yes."So I came until I reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I was pleased with his affair, and my people accepted Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote this letter to Umayr Dhu Marran. He also sent Malik bin Murarah ar-Rahawi to all of Yemen, and Akk Dhu Khaywan accepted Islam. It was said to Akk, "Go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and obtain from him a guarantee of safety for your village and your property."So he came, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote for him,"In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. From Muhammad the Messenger of Allah to Akk Dhu Khaywan. If he is truthful, then for his land, his property, and his slaves he has the guarantee of safety, the protection of Allah, and the protection of Muhammad the Messenger of Allah."And Khalid bin Saeed bin al-As wrote it.
