A remaining group of the people of Khaybar fortified themselves and asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to spare their lives and let them depart, which he did. When the people of Fadak heard of this, they came down on similar terms. Fadak therefore belonged exclusively to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, since no horses or camels had been spurred against it.
