He said, "While we were in the mosque, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us and said, 'Set out with me to the Jews.' So we went out with him until we reached them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood and called out to them, saying, 'Company of Jews, accept Islam and you will be safe.'They replied, 'You have delivered the message, Abu Qasim.'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said again, 'Accept Islam and you will be safe.'They replied, 'You have delivered the message, Abu Qasim.'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'That is what I wanted.' Then he said it a third time, adding, 'Know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and I intend to expel you from this land. So whoever among you has any property, let him sell it. Otherwise, know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.'"
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد أخبرنا الليث عن سعيد بن أبي سعيد عن أبيه
أنه قال بينا نحن في المسجد إذ خرج إلينا رسول الله ﷺ فقال انطلقوا إلى يهود فخرجنا معه حتى جئناهم فقام رسول الله ﷺ فناداهم فقال يا معشر يهود أسلموا تسلموا فقالوا قد بلغت يا أبا القاسم فقال لهم رسول الله ﷺ أسلموا تسلموا فقالوا قد بلغت يا أبا القاسم فقال رسول الله ﷺ ذلك أريد ثم قالها الثالثة اعلموا أنما الأرض لله ورسوله وإني أريد أن أجليكم من هذه الأرض فمن وجد منكم بماله شيئا فليبعه وإلا فاعلموا أنما الأرض لله ورسوله ﷺ
Muslim narrated it in jihad and expeditions, chapter on the expulsion of the Jews from Hijaz, hadith 1765, from Qutayba, and Bukhari narrated it in jizya and truces, chapter on the expulsion of the Jews from the Arabian Peninsula, hadith 3167, from the hadith of Layth bin Saad, with the same chain.
