I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "One who collects unjust taxes will not enter Paradise."

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يدخل الجنة صاحب مكس
[Its isnad is daif] Ahmad reported it, 4/143, from Muhammad bin Salama, with this chain. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 2333, as did Ibn Jarud, no. 339, and Hakim considered it to meet the conditions of Muslim, 1/404, and Dhahabi agreed with him.* Muhammad bin Ishaq bin Yasar used ambiguous transmission wording (anana).
