Zaynab bint Abu Salama informed me that a woman who used to suffer continuous bleeding was married to Abdul-Rahman bin Awf, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded her to perform a full bath before each prayer and then pray. She also informed me that Umm Bakr told her that Ayesha said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said concerning a woman who notices something troubling after she has become pure, "It is only a vein," or he said, "veins."
Its chain is daif. Bayhaqi 1/351 narrated it from the hadith of Abu Dawud through the same route, and Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, no. 115.The hadith of Umm Bakr is daif due to her being unknown. Ibn Majah narrated it, no. 646. Yahya bin Abu Kathir is a mudallis and he narrated it using "an" (indicating possible concealment in the chain).
