The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, every one of you is a shepherd, and every one of you is responsible for his flock. The ruler who is set over the people is a shepherd over them and is responsible for them. The man is a shepherd over the people of his household and is responsible for them. The woman is a shepherdess over the house of her husband and his children and is responsible for them. The slave is a shepherd over the property of his master and is responsible for it. So every one of you is a shepherd, and every one of you is responsible for his flock."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Rulings, chapter of Allah's saying, "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you" [Nisa 4:59], hadith 7138, from the hadith of Malik with the same wording. It is also found in the Muwatta (narration of Abu Musab), 2/etc., 182, 183, hadith 2121.Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Leadership, chapter on the virtue of the just ruler and the punishment of the unjust one, hadith 1829, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Dinar with the same wording.
