Abu Thalaba reported,

"Messenger of Allah, I have hunting dogs that have been trained. Give me a ruling regarding their game."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "If you have trained hunting dogs, then eat from what they catch for you."He asked, "Whether slaughtered properly or not?"He said, "Yes."He asked, "Even if the dog has eaten some of it?"He said, "Even if it has eaten some of it."Then he said, "Messenger of Allah, give me a ruling regarding my bow."He said, "Eat whatever your bow brings down for you."He asked, "Whether slaughtered properly or not?"He said, "Yes."He asked, "Even if the game is out of my sight?"He said, "Even if it goes out of your sight, as long as it is not lost or you find on it a trace other than your arrow."He asked, "Give me a ruling regarding the vessels of the Magians, if we are forced to use them."He said, "Wash them and eat from them."

أبو ثعلبة قال

يا رسول الله إن لي كلابا مكلبة فأفتني في صيدها فقال النبي ﷺ إن كان لك كلاب مكلبة فكل مما أمسكن عليك قال ذكيا أو غير ذكي قال نعم قال فإن أكل منه قال وإن أكل منه فقال يا رسول الله أفتني في قوسي قال كل ما ردت عليك قوسك قال ذكيا أو غير ذكي قال وإن تغيب عني قال وإن تغيب عنك ما لم يضل أو تجد فيه أثرا غير سهمك قال أفتني في آنية المجوس إن اضطررنا إليها قال اغسلها وكل فيها
