The Prophet ﷺ forbade sacrificing an animal with a damaged ear or a broken horn.
حدثنا مسلم بن إبراهيم حدثنا هشام بن أبي عبد الله الدستوائي ويقال له هشام بن سنبر عن قتادة عن جري بن كليب
أن النبي ﷺ نهى أن يضحى بعضباء الأذن والقرن
[Hasan] Reported by Tirmidhi, Chapter on Sacrifice with a Broken-Horned or Torn-Eared Animal, no. 1504, Nasai, no. 4382, and Ibn Majah, no. 3145, from the hadith of Qatada, with this wording. Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih. Shuba also narrated it from Qatada, with this wording. Jurayy bin Kulayb is hasan al-hadith.
