An army acquired food and honey as spoils during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the one-fifth share was not taken from them.
حدثنا إبراهيم بن حمزة الزبيري قال حدثنا أنس بن عياض عن عبيد الله عن نافع
أن جيشا غنموا في زمان رسول الله ﷺ طعاما وعسلا فلم يؤخذ منهم الخمس
[Its isnad is sahih] Tabarani reported it in Al-Kabir, 12/369, 370, no. 13372, 370, and Bayhaqi, 9/59, from Ibrahim bin Hamza with the same wording. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1670, and Bukhari narrated it, no. 3154, from the hadith of Nafi with the same wording.
