He separated a slave girl from her child, so the Prophet ﷺ forbade him from doing that and annulled the sale.

Sourcing, its isnad is daif. Bayhaqi (9/126) narrated it from the hadith of Abu Dawud through him, and its chain is daif. The hadith has corroborating witnesses, and the hadith of Tirmidhi (no. 1283, 1566) suffices in its place.
