The Prophet ﷺ said on the day of Badr, "When they draw close to you, shoot them with arrows, and do not draw your swords until they come right upon you."

قال النبي ﷺ يوم بدر إذا أكثبوكم فارموهم بالنبل ولا تسلوا السيوف حتى يغشوكم
