A spy from the polytheists came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was on a journey. He sat among his companions and then slipped away. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Find him and kill him."I reached him before the others, killed him, and took his belongings, and the Prophet ﷺ awarded them to me as spoils.
حدثنا الحسن بن علي حدثنا قال أبو نعيم حدثنا أبو عميس
أتى النبي ﷺ عين من المشركين وهو في سفر فجلس عند أصحابه ثم انسل فقال النبي ﷺ اطلبوه فاقتلوه قال فسبقتهم إليه فقتلته وأخذت سلبه فنفلني إياه
