When the Prophet ﷺ returned from a journey, we would be brought out to meet him. Whichever of us reached him first, he would seat in front of him. I was the first to meet him, so he carried me in front of him, then Hasan, or Husayn, came to meet him, and he placed him behind him. We entered Madinah in that manner.
حدثنا أبو صالح محبوب بن موسى أخبرنا أبو إسحق الفزاري عن عاصم بن سليمان عن مورق يعني العجلي
كان النبي ﷺ إذا قدم من سفر استقبل بنا فأينا استقبل أولا جعله أمامه فاستقبل بي فحملني أمامه ثم استقبل بحسن أو حسين فجعله خلفه فدخلنا المدينة وإنا لكذلك
