The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman must not fast while her husband is present except with his permission, apart from Ramadan, nor may she give anyone permission to enter his house while he is present except with his permission."
حدثنا الحسن بن علي حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا معمر عن همام بن منبه أنه سمع
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا تصوم المرأة وبعلها شاهد إلا بإذنه غير رمضان ولا تأذن في بيته وهو شاهد إلا بإذنه
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter "What a Slave Spends from His Master's Wealth," hadith no. 1026, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq. And Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Marriage, chapter "A Woman's Fasting Voluntarily with Her Husband's Permission," hadith no. 5192, from the hadith of Maamar, from him. It is also found in Musannaf Abdul-Razzaq, hadith no. 7886, and in Sahifah Hammam bin Munabbih, hadith no. 76.
