Fatimah bint Qays reported,

Fatimah bint Qays informed him that she had been the wife of Abu Hafs bin Mughira, and that Abu Hafs bin Mughira had pronounced upon her the final of three divorces. She claimed that she came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him for a ruling concerning her leaving her house, and he instructed her to move to the home of the blind Ibn Umm Maktum.Marwan, however, refused to accept Fatimah's account regarding a divorced woman leaving her house.Urwa said that Ayesha also rejected what Fatimah bint Qays reported.

أنها أخبرته أنها كانت عند أبي حفص بن المغيرة وأن أبا حفص بن المغيرة طلقها آخر ثلاث تطليقات فزعمت أنها جاءت رسول الله ﷺ فاستفتته في خروجها من بيتها فأمرها أن تنتقل إلى ابن أم مكتوم الأعمى فأبى مروان أن يصدق حديث فاطمة في خروج المطلقة من بيتها قال عروة وأنكرت عائشة رضي الله عنها على فاطمة بنت قيس
