[Its isnad is sahih] Nasai narrated it in the Book of Divorce, chapter on Rajah (taking back a wife), no. 3590, from the hadith of Sahl bin Muhammad, through him. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (Mawarid): 1324, and Hakim according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim): 2/197, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith has a defect that is not damaging.
