Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned his daughter Zaynab to Abu al-As on the basis of the original marriage, without anything new being established. Muhammad bin Amr said in his version, "after six years," while Hasan bin Ali said, "after two years."

[Its chain is daif] Tirmidhi reported it in the Book of Marriage, Chapter on What Has Been Said Concerning a Married Couple Who Are Polytheists When One of Them Embraces Islam, hadith no. 1143, and Ibn Majah, hadith no. 2009, both from the hadith of Ibn Ishaq, through this chain.Dawud bin Husayn is trustworthy, but Ibn Madini said, "Whatever he narrated from Ikrima is objectionable."
